Carla Eastis

Carla works with faculty members and college leadership to facilitate a meaningful, authentic assessment process for the university’s Prospect for Success (PFS) program. She collects and analyzes data on student learning outcomes and other measures of student success, and advises PFS implementation teams continuous improvement of the program based on these analyses. Before joining UNC-Charlotte in 2013, Carla worked at Catawba College as assistant professor of sociology and as director of institutional research. She is interested in the scholarship of teaching and learning with particular regard to the first-year experience.
